No One Cares About Excuses

No one cares about your excuses.

I saw a video this morning that really struck me. It was extremely simple, not edited, recorded on a phone and blurry at times, but was extremely moving at the same time.

Here’s the quick breakdown:

There’s a guy on a wheelchair at a gym, he can’t move his legs. The guy recording is having him go through a circuit it seems like they have practiced before. Wake Up Early? Why?

Waking up early? Why would you do that?

For years and years, I would sleep whenever I wanted and wake up whenever I wanted. That could have meant sleeping at 2 AM, and waking up at 10:30 AM. Sometimes it was sleep at 4 AM and wake up at noon. If a time came that I had to be up early, say for work, I would sleep as early as I could, and wake up whenever I needed. The Best Way To Get Started In Fitness

So, you finally made the decision and want to get into fitness. Congratulations! That is the hardest part. It is easier than you think from here on out.

This is really simple.

Now that the decision has been made, you’re probably wondering “what’s the next step?”

Well, it really is a lot more simple than a lot of more people make it out to be. There are many people that will tell you that you need to get the newest headphones, the most advanced shoes, get on one specific program, make drastic changes to your diet and listen to a certain playlist.

Hitting A Wall? What Are You Going To Do About It?

You Hit A Wall? Now What?

Sometimes you hit a wall. You never really know when it is going to happen, but it will.

If you have a goal in mind, the only way to get to that goal is to put in the work. You need to take little baby steps along the way in order for you to make progress. It’s a journey. We tend to treat a goal like a place.

When you start working towards that certain goal that you have in mind, you have sight of your end goal. It seems SO far away. It is just natural for us to do that.
